Saturday 6/30/18 at the Bellmore Public Library on Long Island, CJ Ramone and I had a public conversation, "So You Wanna be a Rock Star," about everything from why the Ramones matter, the music we love, family, community, honor and being an outsider. A few years ago I met Michael Stamberg (right) at a Trader Joe's in Oceanside. I noticed his Black Flag tattoo, we started talking, he's toured with CJ and other bands, today he's a librarian/rocker who does programing for young adults. He invited CJ & me to present our thoughts. It was a family affair, because no matter how old you are, or how young, Ramones Family Values are for life!
