"Hail Atlantis: A Sandy Survivor's Tale"

In 2012, Super Storm Sandy destroyed my house, my car, my community and battered my immune system. On the one year anniversary, I published "Hail Atlantis: A Sandy Survivor's Tale." In time, my home was rebuilt, I got a new car, regained my health and today I teach "Coastal Community Studies" in the SUNY system. This essay is an ode to the power of faith, community and the water people of the world.
