"Behold, I am doing a new thing....." (Isaiah 42:19)

"Remember you not the former things, neither consider things of old."--Isaiah 42:18

After six months of exile from my City by the Sea, our community is coming back to life after Sandy, every day people are returning, unpacking, rebuilding the soil in the garden and dealing with flood insurance. I'm home, and thrilled to announce that on 7/1/13 I'll begin working full time as a Mentor/Professor in Community and Human Services/Youth Studies at Empire State College's Long Island Center at Old Westbury, NYhttps://www.esc.edu/long-island/locations/old-westbury/

Empire State College is a SUNY school offering individualized adult learning for working adults seeking undergraduate and graduate degrees through individualized study.  Where appropriate, ESC also offers college credit for work & life experience.  I'll be working directly with people in addiction studies, nursing, social work, human service delivery, law enforcement, ministry  and counseling, as well as adult learners in other concentrations.
